Its time for me to post one of the most romantic song ever (No.1 in my all time favorites romantic numbers, in top 10 over all), Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas...Tum Rehti Ho... This song is from the movie Blackmail (Dharmendra, Raakhi). Overall this song is perfect, lyrics, music, Kishoreda's perfect vocals, cinematography. I actually liked Dharmendra and Raakhi in this song for it is so beautifully picturised, in such lively colors. Music is rendered by Kalyanji-anandji. Kishoreda's voice in this number is really terrific, very melodious, and sweet. This song is for everyone whether you like KK or not. Enjoy!!

Badi Sooni

Hey Folks,
This is another gem of Kishoreda's songs. This one is from movie Mili, music S D Burman. Kishoreda and Burman Sr. shared a very special bond between them. It was SD who always struck with Kishoreda even when other musicians declined to give him songs to sing in the movies. Imagine what it could have been if Burmanda was not there..what a great loss that would have been to the film industry..these two Geniuses contribution to the world of music is immense and indescribable. Now well coming back to this song.. hear it to believe it.. kishoreda's voice is magical in this one.. so is the composition. Also kishoreda sang this song when SD burman was in hospital because of an heart attack..so the feeling of kishoreda makes this one truly special . For us kishoreda fans...badi sooni hain zindagi bin aapke...
for me kishoreda's sad songs are the best songs ever........Full of life...

Hey Folks!! I see no one is replying to posts.. Please start doing it, keep this blog active. Try checking the blog at least once a week, I assure you I will post at least once in a week.
This posts song is Aa Chal Ke Tujhe from the movie "Door Gagan Ki Chhaon Main". Interesting facts: This movie was directed by Kishoreda, music was given by Kishoreda, Lyrics were written by Kishoreda, singer of this song--Kishoreda, and any guesses who acted in the movie.. well of course our extremely talented Kishoreda . It is a beautiful song, with beautiful imagination of a beautiful world. This movie is actually a war movie, so when Kishoreda returns from war, he finds that his son has lost abilities to talk, so the inspiring song. Kishoreda always had a image of funny guy, always fooling around, joking and all. But in reality he had this nature of seriousness which is seen in the movies he made himself, music he gave himself and lyrics he wrote himself, this one is one among such rare classics. The music of this song is very calm and soothing, which blends well with Kishoreda's voice. One of the most beautiful songs of Bollywood, with great lyrics, great thoughts, great voice. It makes me wanting for such a world in real life. Koi Humdum Na Raha

Hi! All again.
Its wonderful to have some responses to my previous post, its encouraging. Now coming to a song, this time I wanted to talk about yet another of my very fav Kishoreda's songs, and again very close to my heart. I feel this song is very soulful, the way da has sang this song, and just you know he also composed the music for this movie "Jhumroo", it has such number's as Main Hoon Jhumroo, This one, Thandi Hawa...all these songs need separate posts which I will do subsequently in sometime. So if you have not listen to these songs, then please do so. Coming back to this song, the lyrics for the songs was written by Majrooh Sultanpuri. This is a sad song KK sings when he finds that his lover in the movie is marrying someone else, and you will find the pain he is going through in this song, Kishoreda at his very best. I am not finding any words here to describe this one, so please you guys listen to it, if you have not already and write your own reviews. Thanks.

Aap Ke Anurodh Pe

Hi!!

This will be my first posting of a song of Kishoreda and I have chosen the song which is very close to my heart, "Aap Ke Anurodh Pe Main Yeh Geet Sunaata Hoon" from the movie-Anurodh. If you have not listen to this one, then you must because this will give you the knowledge of the depth of Kishoreda's voice and his magical singing. This one has the music of Laxmikanth-Pyarelal and lyrics of Anand Bakshi.  If I have to rate this song in a scale of 1-10, I will definitely rate it 11, for it is more than what you expect.  Kishoreda was not a trained singer, he didn't have any classical singing training like other singers of his time and this was considered as his weakness. But he proved all his critics wrong time and time again by his pure commitment towards music. This is the best example of that, this is a sort of classical based song, and Kishoreda sang it so well that no one could tell that he never had a training in singing, he is simply superb.  In fact if possible, listen to the song in the video [ See Videos Section on the right,  second song] , where he actually sings the first para of the song on Harmonium, without any other music and that will blow you away.  Pure magic in his voice, and style.  The other songs from this movie too are top-notch. Must Listen for Kishore's Fan. Will discuss another song from this movie later.
